Round 1: Chris Sandt (RVD)
Played a bunch of actions until he Volley this'd one. Hid the backstage next turn, he got Rev., I got Head Butt and Booby Tra (T) to get Obey, which shredded his backlash deck before he could drop Mr. Monday Night. A Waist Lock and 8th Wonder later, the match was more or less over.
1-0
Round 2: Masquez (Nicky)
Forgot his ability countless number of times. We exchanged beatings back and forth, but it ended up where he had no hand and no more reversals to my Blindsides, and it was game over. Beat him with a Blindside Drop Toe Hold.
2-0
Round 3: Chris Mull (Trish)
This is such a horrendous matchup for Trish. 100 cards, 2 Let's Wrestle Already's, 2 Booby Traps. Mull made a good go of it, but the bottom line was that he could not do enough damage, even after 2 x Trish's Chick Kick, Babe Buster, and Strat Bulldog, to keep me down and out. 8th Wonder into Precision Sleeper was the dooming play.
3-0
Round 4: Ralph Barto (LAISE)
Ralph had the match played ALMOST right. He dropped my SSV below his with Endorsements, used cards that refilled his hand, and got the first turn. He forgot Trash Talking Interview, however...which led to his You Feelin' Lucky (T) getting Once Is Enough. This allowed for me to attack him and throw down a Broken with a reversal underneath. His next turn, he tried Mountain, which I Volley'd. Hid the backstage to get and play Giant Head Butt+Booby Trap+Obey combo on him to scrap his BL deck. He hit a couple of moves, but I overturned early enough that they didn't do major damage. And when he ran out of hand and failed to draw a playable card, he scooped.
4-0
Top 8: Chris Mull
Pretty much this match went same as first, minus him hitting any Trish Kicks and losing Strat Bulldog to Outta Play. Beat him with The Finisher.
5-0
Top 4: Chris Sandt
Hid the backstage after playing two Brokens, and hit Giant Head Butt (No booby trap, as he sought out an Ego Boost), but this time I searched for Sidewalk Slam to try and stuff his Everything's Cool. He, oddly, didn't throw it all game. He got some fort off on me, and I started piling things up in my ring area. I ended up unloading like all my moves on him (since my moves also let me recover via Flawless). He tried over and over again to recover via Candace and/or Puppies, but the final time was met with Obey, which got him down to 0 cards, and a Sidewalk Slam finished him off.
6-0
Finals: Ralph Barto
Ralph tapped before the match started, claiming he couldn't beat my deck.
7-0
$20 store credit got me 5 packs, with which I used some of the contents to trade for a Pulp Mania. Also traded for a DX face card from said contents as well. And I got an extra We Face Each Other.
