Scott, I don't even know what to say to half of this shit so I'll keep mum on most of it. Though, as a fairly liberal moderate (ha!), I'd have to say that most of that last post is completely wrong. Do I love Bush? No. Do I think he's done everything wrong? No.

There's a handful of wayyyyyyyyyyy in the outfield liberals...most are just like me who think that there's some improvements who need to be made...unfortunately, the only people who vote during the primaries are the people who really care about politics...with either party, that generally means the people who are at the extreme ends, hence the reason we're seeing Kerry/Edwards, not Edwards/someone smarter than Kerry. At least I can say that I voted for Edwards in the primaries. Is he more experienced than Kerry? Hell no. But, at the same time, I think he's got a better head on his shoulders...and he sure as shit has as much experience as Bush did when he entered office. (I'll give Bush some extra credit for being an owner in MLB.)

I will say that I *love* the fact that Pete would post something as completely ignorant as that football picture.

Yeah. I base my vote on whether the president can catch a football.

Sorry...no flames here, Scott. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion...and I have to agree that Kerry's a pompous ass, as shown in the original story posted. You know well that the only reason I'm voting for him is because I have full faith that his penile-region health problems will force him out, leaving the smarter John to take over. Hell, if you've watched anything those two have been on lately and followed the primaries, you'd know that just about everything Kerry's spewing now was taken from Edwards' stump speech.

If y'all want to have intelligent conversation about politics, I'm all about it. I can appreciate views from the other side of the fence if they're well backed up. I'm sorry, Pete, but everything you've posted other than the original article is biased crap that doesn't make any sense, let alone warrant a well-thought-out response. Case in point, the little timeline you posted, where it says those 52 hostages released after Reagan's inauguration was a GOOD thing. There's more than enough support now showing that Reagan's election crew worked with Iran to delay the release of hostages 76 days so that they'd be let loose on inauguration day. For their troubles, Reagan sent arms into Iran via Israel soon after. No, I'm not talking about Iran-Contra, so don't get confused. Yes, I know, Carter started it all...politicians are all crackheads.
