Well, mike and i decided to take a break from our all white team to make a team of guys we dont normally draft. so, we had a kinda of play, like we normally do. we decided to take linemen and defense early.
magically the second overall pick fell to us. so naturally we deviated completely from our plan. and we drafted tomlinson. because, as the offensive coordinator i decided that our running game would be much better off with LdT (because we wouldnt draft a retired line backer to play running back, getting LT would just be stupid) than with nick goings, from the white team. from there we went on to draft alan faneca. and some other guys.
we wanted strong corners and safeties, because we are a linebacker factory. we decided to take young LBs, because eventually we will trade our starters and let the back ups take over, because pretty soon they will be too expensive, and our backups will be in their 80's by then. but, corners and safeties were our first defensive concern.
FS- We decided to go with Sean Taylor at starter, because he fucks niggas up and hes going to jail. We went with his youth, 22, and speed 90. His 87 tackle was good, and his mad ups and acc were good as well. I usually take taylor on all the defensive plays, because then we can blitz and take more chances or i can drop off into coverage.--- 93 overall
Our back up is Stuart Schweigert. Hes been our anchor at free safety on our all white team, so we welcomed him on this team, even if its only a backup role... for now.--- 81
SS- We decided to go with Bob Sanders. He was a beast on one of my first chises and we need a beast at strong safety. Hes pretty fucking beasty, and with 93 speed, he can be on most wide receivers. We like going with team speed on defense, because awarness and the other things come with time, but speed isnt gained. Our backup is Brodney Pool. a rookie, who is already an 83 without playing a down in our first 12 games. Sanders-- 88 Pool-- 83
CB- We wanted one established cb and then we could mold our 2nd and nickle backs. Our #1 is Marcus Trufant and our #2 is Fabian Washington. I love fabes cuz hes always covering niggas. Adam Jones is our nickle back, he hasnt earned the right to be called pacman. Allen Rossum is our #4 and returner. and Julian Battle is our 5th, but we never use quarter because its queer. Trufant-- 91, Fabes-- 83, Adam-- 85, Rossum-- 78 Battle-- 74
and once again, our strength is at LB. LOLB- Our starter is Akin Ayodele, mainly because hes a beast. He has good speed and is mad cheap, but not for long cuz i see that we have to give him a new deal. And once again is our favorite, Sean Tufts. The white team superbowl mvp. He forced a fumble and ran it back for a td on a punt return. It gave us a 10-3 lead in the 4th, which we eventually won 13-10 in ot. Ayodeke-- 90, Tufts-- 75
MLB- We got our man at middle this time, with Vilma. We are currently trying to get him to be defensive player of the year, and currently hes ahead of ray lewis. Our back up is Lofa Tatupu, because as the great announcers said during the NFC championshit game, he calls the defensive plays as a rookie... but since middle linebackers usually call the plays on all teams, it isnt a big deal. but we got him because he calls the plays. Vilma-- 90, Tatupu-- 81
ROLB- Holding down the right side is Nick Greisen. He has a nose for the ball. and his backup and eventual replacement is the younger and faster Alex Lewis. Greisen-- 84, Lewis--77
DT- Another position that can be played by anyone is our defensive tackles. Albert Haynesworth and Chris Hovan. Doesnt matter who we put there, they always do good. Our backup is Willie Blade, because his name is Willie Blade. Haynesworth--91, Hovan-- 87, Blade--81
RE- We actually had to trade for our choice, Osi Umenyiora because we forgot we wanted him. Our whole defensive line does not matter. if we can make bo schobel a probowler we can make anyone. Our back up is trevor johnson. Osi-- 86, Johnson-- 76
LE- At first we were going to trade anthony weaver for osi, but we decided against it. His back up is jeb huckeba. Weaver-- 88, Jeb-- 78
Now, our offense is the best offense we have ever had ever. On pro the offense didnt matter at all. because it is just so easy. but the step up to all pro made it a little harder, because coverage was much better, but this offense is the best we have ever had.
QB- We were going for eli this draft because we hate aaron rodgers now because he has shitty accuracy. And manning being an 82 we could wait a while. It was possibly the best decision we have ever made. He leads the league in passer rating- 119.4, yards- 3,078 including back to back 450+ games,TDs- 40, the next closest is peyton manning, with 22, 5th in ints with 7. The 40-7 ratio is pretty damn good. it is also impressive because we only have 130 completions. And its week 12, so i surpassed my goal of getting 3,000 yards. He is leading in mvp, best qb, and off player of the year, which is pretty good, because fuck vick who is gonna rush for like 2,000 yards. Our back ups are charlie batch and doug flutie. Manning-- 87, Flutie-- 74, Batch-- 76
RBs- Surprisingly our best runner ever, and we dont use him nearly as much as we have in the past. Our passing game is so much better that the running game takes a back seat. Our rbs are tomlinson, kevin faulk, fast willie parker, and rock cartwright. We took faulk as a back up, willie parker because hes fast willie parker, and rock cartwright, because his name is rock. LdT- 99(only 762 rushing and 146 rec with 8 total tds) Faulk- 82, Rock-- 76, Willie-- 73
FB- our fb by name is Jim Finn, but we dont use him. We use chris cooley, who has advanced by leaps and bounds since the beginning of the season. we could not convert him to an fb cuz madden likes the dick, but he plays it and gives us a good pass catching threat from the back field.. along with LdT. Finn- 78, Cooley-- 81
WRs- It was funny, we had our #1 in mind, but then is said, well since steve smith hasnt been picked in the last 3 rounds lets just take him. Best choice i have ever made. He already has 1161 yards on.... 24 catches. Yes, his average is 48.3. His long is 90 yards and he has 13 tds. He posted a 334 yard, 4 td game last week. What we do is lob the ball deep, and mike takes steve smith and just fasts to the ball. i just bomb it and he catches up to it. its amazing. and then our #2 matt jones. hes a fucking beast. hes offensive rookie of the year leader. He has 34 catches for 936 and 10 tds. Those 2 are just a sick combo. jones is fast and tall, so we throw it high and he gets it. Our other wrs are Kevin Curtis, who is our specialist in 4 wr sets cuz hes so fast and a lb or safety usually covers him, Mike Williams, and Arnaz Battle. Smith-- 90, Jones-- 83, Williams--83, Curtis-- 76, Battle-- 75.
TE- Jeremy Shockey-- 93 Only 364 yards on 19 catches, but 10 of them were for tds.
and now the o line LT- Matt Light-- 93, Adam Terry--79 LG- Alan Faneca--99, Scott Tercero--78 C- Olin Kreutz-- 99, Melvin Fowler--83, yes we got him cuz his name was melvin. RG- Brandon Moore--83, Rex Hadnot--78, yes got him cuz name hadnot. RT- Tom AShworth--84, Michael Roos--79
K- Josh Scobee im a beast with him.--86 P- Matt McBriar, he has high hair.--75
