My favorite part of the article is the last line Ravens: Sanders contemplating a comeback Retired cornerback Deion Sanders, 37, is considering the idea of a comeback as a member of the Ravens. Although Ravens' head coach Brian Billick said there haven't been any official discussions between Sanders and team officials, the Baltimore Sun has reported that Sanders discussed the possibility with linebacker Ray Lewis after Ravens' defensive back Dale Carter was deemed unable to play due to a blood clot in his lung. Sanders has not played since the 2000 season. Deion is going to spend some time training to see if he can get into playing shape. He wants to play the nickel back position and has no interest in being a starting cornerback. He may also be willing to play special teams as a return man. We will gladly endorse any move that will keep Sanders out of broadcasting for an extended length of time.
