Stupid rasta-man needs to take some real drugs Dolphins: Williams not close to return Ricky Williams told the Miami Herald he has no plans to return to the Dolphins this year. The retired running back has not ruled out returning at some point, but told the Herald "It's not in my best interests to play football right now." Williams is in Australia and plans to travel to India for the next several months. "You need to understand that I didn't call [the Dolphins] to see if I could come back," said Williams. He contacted the team when his agent recommended he do so after receiving a letter from the Dolphins demanding repayment of $8.6 million by Monday. Williams indicated his retirement had to do with money issues and because the Dolphins passed on Marc Trestman to hire Chris Foerster as offensive coordinator. Williams was not happy with Foerster's offense during the offseason. Our View: Ricky would have to jump numerous hurdles even if the rumors about his return were true. He has failed three drug tests, for which he would likely face a one-year suspension after his return. He would also have to appeal to the NFL just to get reinstated, which would be a dicey situation considering all of the failed drug tests and the testing Williams has missed since retiring.
